Movie Overview
The film centers around a lRS official Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), who has quite recently been transferred to Lucknow as Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, where he lives joyfully with his better half Malini (Ileana D’Cruz). At some point, he gets an unknown tip about dark cash stored by (Member of Parliament) Rameshwar Singh (Saurabh Shukla), the wear of Sitagarh, who had sidestepped personal assessment for quite a while. In this way, Amay and his group, after much arranging, head to Sitagarh. There he and his group face restriction from Rameshwar’s unfriendly family, however he holds up to his standards and honesty. He look through each alcove and corner of the house with his group to locate the dark cash with no achievement. Following a couple of long stretches of looking, when all expectation appears to be lost, he gets an unknown letter, alongside a guide, uncovering the area of the cash in the house. Amay and his group separate the dividers, roofs, flights of stairs and old storerooms (with the assistance of the guide) to discover resources worth crores (several millions). MP Rameshwar, not ready to acknowledge rout, prods Amay into letting him go out.
He at that point meets the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, who declines any assistance as the Income Tax division is heavily influenced by the Central Government and the attack is lawful. The Central Finance Minister is convinced to call Amay, yet is speedily repelled. A tireless Rameshwar meets a few MPs, legislators, senior officials and even the Prime Minister, yet without any result. He, at that point rallies his political help and takes steps to topple the state bureau except if the Prime Minister consents to meet him. As the strike proceeds for a third continuous night, the PM and Rameshwar meet. The PM calls Amay and approaches him to search for other legitimate alternatives; Amay consents to go along, as long as she outfits a marked request through fax requesting Amay and his group to stop the assault, successfully refuting the solicitation. The PM understands that a composed request pressurizing the IRS group to stop the attack may arrive at the media and the Government might be brought into unsavoriness. She will not help and sends Rameshwar away. Baffled, Rameshwar after debilitating his political choices, attempts the tack of assaulting Amay’s better half Malini, who barely get away. On hearing this, Amay gets irate yet chooses to control his annoyance.
At long last, on the fourth day, around early afternoon, Rameshwar sends his thugs to kill Amay and his group. A long fight follows and an almost vanquished Amay is spared just under the wire by a unique police power sent in by the PM. Rameshwar is captured and before being driven away in cuffs, he gets some information about the character of his source. Amay will not disclose that data. It uncovered that Rameshwar’s most youthful little girl in-law was the witness; she and her sweetheart needed vengeance on Rameshwar for compelling her to wed his inept child as a component of a political arrangement. Rameshwar is seen pondering about the witness’ personality in jail while Amay gets moved to another city, bearing in mind the end goal of a more promising time to come.
